Crime Scenes explores the dark and obscure sides of a relationship. One could relate it to the first sin on earth, committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Feelings such as shame, guilt, veiled desires and fear of abandonment, are part of the everyday life of this loving pair. The ‘crime locations’ or the décor for these ‘offences’ have an ordinary domestic character, the artist envelops these surroundings with a dreamy but horrifying atmosphere.
